Since ancient times, mystics have understood the vibratory power of speech, sound, and song, holding voice as the most sacred of all instruments. In this workshop which meets once a month for 10 months, Lisa Ishwari Murphy and Marcelle Saraswati Gauvin combine their gifts to guide participants on a journey using voice as a doorway to inner connection. This musical self-exploration rides on the wings of heart inspired song as the mechanism to spark conscious awakening and creation. The artist begins to realize their authentic life’s purpose and learns to identify what supports or hinders their creative flow.
Over the 10 month period, each participant will create three songs using a formula that they will master. Artists will perform to transform, learning a repeatable, intentional process in which an inspired idea transmutes itself from a formless state to a musical expression. This entire process will be supported by the Song Pod, a safe, judgment-free community made up of like-minded artists. The Pod supports each of its members, holding space in a reciprocal relationship of giving and receiving. Pod consciousness knows the success of one magnifies the success of the group. A community of One-ness is formed, a community that amplifies its own alchemy.
Lisa Ishwari Murphy, Director of the Synergy of Sound and Song and originator of Sva Ha Yoga and Marcelle Saraswati Gauvin, Voice Retraining Specialist and Associate Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music join together in facilitating this unique workshop. Lisa is considered a master sound healer with over 30 years of experience and carries the wisdom of many indigenous tribal elders. Marcelle also brings 30 plus years of musical expertise with her as a performing artist and is recognized for her ability to free an artist’s authentic voice using the principles of Natural First Law. Together they hold the intent of creating Hanaqpacha (Heaven on Earth) for all.
